CPU Approves Faculty Research Collaboration with St. Therese-MTC Colleges, La Fiesta Site

The Central Philippine University (CPU) approved our request to collaborate with their faculty under the College of Hospitality Management last April 14, 2021. Dr. Arlene T. Dalawis, RDC of La Fiesta Site, conducted initial meeting in her Office last April 19, 2021 with the CPU’s international researchers, Dr. Armando Hisuan and Prof. Ismael Almajar, both are faculty members of CPU College of Hospitality Management. They recommended that there will be only three (3) researchers for collaboration and Dr. Dalawis is preferred due to her expertise on environment and ecotourism as the research shall focus on these. The MOA, terms of reference and proposal will be finalized hopefully in the next meeting on May 8, 2021 as scheduled at the St. Therese-MTC Colleges, La Fiesta Site. It was likewise proposed that an LGU will be involved after identified for a tripartite MOA once a meeting with them is scheduled and they will approve of such involvement. It will be their community which is the recipient of the study. This action research in collaboration with CPU is expected to be completed within a year.
