Drastic changes have happened and now we are facing the “new normal”. Libraries was not an exemption to this changes, they also have to face the challenges due to the restrictions and risk that COVID-19 pandemic has brought globally.
St. Therese-MTC Colleges Library commits to provide and support the information and research needs of the students, faculty and staff through various media platforms and tools in a synchronous and asynchronous structure.
To be able to provide the best possible service in the midst of this existing uncertainty, last October 2020, St. Therese-MTC Colleges Library created the Virtual Reference Service to adapt with the new normal situation in serving the information and research needs of the students, faculty and staff without stepping into the library.
One of the innovations created in this Virtual Reference Service is the chatbot named TReSIA. TReSIA stands for Theresian Reference Service and Information Assistant, she will be the virtual reference librarian who is readily available to respond to the reference and information queries of the academic community.
TReSIA is available Monday - Saturday from 08:00AM - 05:00PM.
